Even though social worker Nina (Jennifer Aniston) has a boyfriend, the man she feels closest to is her schoolteacher friend George (Paul Rudd). When George is forced to move in with Nina, the relationship between the two becomes even more intense. Nina falls pregnant, but decides she would prefer to raise her child with George, rather than its natural father.
