Raizô Ichikawa stars in this Japanese samurai action directed by Tokuzô Tanaka. When young and naive samurai Kobuse Takuma (Ichikawa) agrees to accept the blame for a murder he did not commit in order to protect his clan, he is told that he will be able to return home after he spends a year in exile. However, when this promise is broken and he is betrayed, he is forced to become a fugitive and must decide whether he will accept death or pursue vengeance.

The cast also includes Kaoru Yachigusa, Shiho Fujimura and Ichirô Nakatani.
