This re-mastered version of the debut record by London based Afro-Caribbean group Osibisa is a welcome reminder of the group's power at their late-60s inception. One of their most notable hits, 'Music For Gong Gong', makes its first appearance here in all its danceable glory, and predates much of the band's later success in the 70s. Taking their inherited musical styles to a more western, funk and dance oriented sound, Osibisa were a pre-eminent force in taking world music to a global audience.
