Billy Bob Thornton, Bill Paxton, Michael Beach and Cynda Williams star in this crime thriller directed by Carl Franklin. Three criminals flee Los Angeles after committing six murders and travel to Houston to sell the cocaine they have stolen. When the LAPD officers tracking them learn that the trio may head to Star City, Arkansas next, they contact Star City Police Chief Dale 'Hurricane' Dixon (Paxton), who is eager to assist with their investigation.
