When ex-cop Alexa Crowe (Lucy Lawless) returns to her New Zealand hometown after years living in Australia, she’s called upon to investigate puzzling murders by charismatic DI Harry Henare (Rawiri Jobe). Alexa is soon joined in Auckland by data analyst and partner-in-crime-solving, Madison, who’s closer than ever to her mentor—literally, as she ends up living in Alexa’s apartment.
