When Canterlot High goes on a field trip to Camp Everfree, they discover a mysterious magical force that causes strange things to happen around the camp. With the help of Sunset Shimmer and her other new friends, transfer student Twilight must overcome her dark alter ego "Midnight Sparkle" to save the camp.
