Alain Resnais directs this French drama starring Claude Rich and Olga Georges-Picot. Hospitalised following a suicide attempt, Claude Ridder (Rich) is approached by a private research company to take part in an experiment involving time travel. With nothing left to lose following the death of his terminally ill partner, he accepts the assignment, but will revisiting the past be all it's cracked up to be?
