While on their way to visit their father for Christmas a freak blizzard leaves Spencer and Katherine stranded at the airport. The only thing worse than not being able to see their dad is being stuck in a room full of obnoxious kids all travelling without their parents. Desperate to escape Spencer joins forces with four other unaccompanied minors who despite having nothing in common manage to put aside their differences long enough to outwit and outrun the wily airport staff. What started out looking like a disappointing Christmas turns out to be an unforgettable joyride for some unlikely friends.
