American drama in which a young African-American girl named Kamilla (Simone Baker) befriends Korean brothers Eli and Daniel (Justin Chon and David So) who own a local shoe store. As she loses interest in going to school and struggles to fit in in her own neighbourhood, Kamilla goes against her family's wishes and spends her days helping out at the store. However, when tensions run high on the streets, Eli and Daniel find themselves having to make their mark as Kamilla innocently tries to enjoy her childhood.
