Sian Gibson and David Walliams star in this made-for-TV fantasy drama. After marrying Prince Charming (Walliams), Cinderella (Gibson) becomes dissatisfied with her new life as Fairyland royalty. Meanwhile, Cinderella's evil stepmother, Madame Blackheart (Celia Imrie), plots to marry and poison the King (Tom Courtenay) so she can take his place as ruler of the kingdom.
