Jimmy McNichol stars in this horror thriller directed by William Asher. High school student Billy Lynch (McNichol) lives with his overprotective aunt Cheryl (Susan Tyrrell). When she murders a television repair man and claims that he tried to rape her, police detective Joe Carlson (Bo Svenson) is assigned to the case.

He begins harrassing Billy, believing that Billy committed the crime and Cheryl is covering for him. However, when secrets from Cheryl's past are revealed and her behaviour becomes increasingly violent, no one is safe...
